Highlights - September release
State construction contractor look-up - Self-insuring
employers can now check the status of their individual business
locations. That means self-insuring employers can enter the federal
tax identification numbers for specific locations, and they will get
the status of that location.

State construction contractor look-up.
Automatic office locator - We've added a contact number for
employer services, and a map with directions to the customer
service office. You can download and print the map.
To access this service offering click Contact us, Automatic office
locator.
Administrative cost split - Recent legislation created a separate
administrative cost fund for the Industrial Commission of Ohio. This affected how we display
accounts receivable, premium and rate information for Ohio employers. The
biggest change you'll see is the new Administrative cost breakdown screen under Experience
period data.

Prior-to-coverage payroll - Employers are required by law to pay workers'
compensation premium from their first day of hire. With this enhancement to the payroll
report service offering, employers can report any payroll they had for up to two years
prior to obtaining coverage.
To access this service offering click Ohio employers, Payroll reports.
Lifting guidelines - This brand new service offering is the result of a
joint research project with the Ohio State University. This interactive service
allows you to enter specific criteria to help you develop realistic recommendations
for lifting guidelines in the workplace.
You can access this service offering in the Injured workers, Ohio employers
and Medical providers sections. From Ohio employers click Safety services,
Lifting guidelines.
The October release is scheduled for Oct. 20.
